A 0.10M solution of an acid is found to have a pH of 0.95. Is it nitric acid or sulfuric acid?

The fact that the pH is less than 1 indicates that more H+ ions than could be provided by HNO3 are present. This would only give a pH of 1.0. So the answer is H2SO4.
