[Handgun] Calibers to stay away from?

I AM NOT CONDONING BUYING A WEAPON OR USING YOUR MONEY AT 14. Although i bought one when i was about 8. Get a .357 and shoot .38s through it, low recoil, good defense rounds, and when you get older, you step up to the full .357 magnum. :)
