Pain above my belly on? Please help!!?

Hi. I've recently been noticing like a sharp pain in the right side of my lower stomach for the past...Two weeks. The sharp pain normall l only for a few seconds, maybe a minute, but then I goes away. Yesterday I had a stomach ache and then above my belly on it hurt.After I go to the bathroom, it feels better, but then I get the harp pain back above my belly on and once in a while on my right side. I'm not running a fever or anything but could this be a stomah virus or what?
