On-Line Gambling, like Pokerstars.net, do they cheat ?
they are pretty fair, they have a very intricate tracking system, and they use encryption so taht even the poker room managers cannot see anyone's cards. They have software that looks for colluders, as well as a support that if you ever believe someone may be cheating, if you email them they will do a full investigation. I agree theat unfortunatly these sites provide easy access to some people who should not be gambling and it is very easy for some of these people to become addicted to gambling. As far as being drug pushers....I dont know about that, if you want to blame anyone for pushing poker blame ESPN by gamourizing the lifestyle of poker players and televising many tournaments including the main event where now the winner is making upwards of 10 million dollars. This is much worse than havin a kid sit in front a computer scene ever can, as by showing these you make poker personable and cool....therefore desirable to be a part of. You did not see this boom until ESPN started broadcasting the WSOP with the use of pocket cams. Pocket cams allows the average joe insight into the game that wasnt available previously when watchin a WSOP main event on ESPN was like watchin it in real life, without seeing any of the hole cards...
