She wants to be my friend ! but ! I just can't not yet, Its too soon. Am I being unreasonable ?

My girlfriend of a year and a half finally in August broke things off. She had enough and moved me out of her place. I understand why she did it, things were tough near the end but I miss her so much. I tried to reconcile with her back in october but she had already moved on. Now she is trying to be my friend. She e-mails me and texts me all the time. I try ignoring her but the last e-mail plainly stated that she's not giving up on me. I get it I know she cares and wants me to be happy. But ! I don't know how to handle the issue without being rude I don't know if I will ever be able to be her friend like she wants. She is an amazing person and I am so attracted to her. But the plot thickens ! She is close with my roomate and they run together every morning. So there is all this unspoken wierdness at home. I have recently figured out why most of friends don't call, a good bit of them are friends with her now. So I am sort of the odd man out. I don't know what to do. What do you think ?
