My dog has ehrlichiosis real bad.?

After blood test after blood test the vet finely found the disease. Now my dog is paralyzed in his left leg and has know motor skills at all. The dog has literally rubbed his paw raw from dragging it around. Last night he chewed his foot almost to the bone. He's a champion GSD who has sired 2 real nice litters. Is it even feasible to freeze his seamen or do you think the disease has infected his seamen also? I hate to think it's a total loss he's 8 years old and very dear to me.
