Pain above my belly on? Please help!!?

Hi. I've recently been noticing like a sharp pain in the right side of my lower stomach for the past...Two weeks. What if I don't heal in allotted time while in AIT? Are there medical benefits?

I'm in AIT, and was sent home on con leave for stress fract. to the hips. I go back to the base next week (can't wait), but my hips hurt worse then when i came home. I've been off my feet religeously. I've been very nervous about this whole thing, because I am 42 and joined the Army just one week before the age cut-off - so I tried to be extra cautious about not getting injured in BCT. It did sneak up on me, however., but I was able to p my PT test. (today I can't even imagine attempting to run). Anyway - the doc told me I have 30 days con leave, then 60 days when I get back to recover, and if I don't then I will be medically discharged. I've been reading others' experiences, and some people said they took alot longer than 90 days to heal, so at my age, I've become nervous. I don't want to leave the Army, but if I end up needing the surgery, or if I don't heal within the 90 days allotted, will I receive medical help for my hips afterward?? I read you have to be in for 180 days to get help after, but is that altogether true?? If they decide not to keep me, can I fight to stay in anyway? i don't want to get out of the Army, but if I am forced out, can I expect any further help with my hips?? (those are two seperate scenarios - so I'd like to know what my options are) -- Or does anyone know who I should be asking these questions to? thanks in advance!

First off, I have a lot on my mind -- let me give you some background into my problem. I'm 22 and a fairly healthy female. Recently, I had gotten mono but have gotten better, and I have a mild case of vitiligo (which is a autoimmune disease) for a few years now since high school. I tend to get sick a little bit more than my friends -- I think it's because I've always been a bit more fragile and delicate although I would say I'm fairly healthy. Both of my parents are in the medical field, and I eat and sleep pretty well and have had a decent family life despite some stresses in my life from school and other personal issues. I lost my virginity a few months back to a guy that I thought a knew well. We were dating from about Jan to June. I had all kinds of unprotected . I thought I could trust him and I thought we were in love -- anyway the story between me and him is way too long to explain here. The point is we broke off on somewhat weird and bad terms and now he is out of the country for now even though I know some of his friends and I know his whereabouts (so in a sense I could keep a track of him). And, now that I think of it he lied to me about a few things and now I consider him a full fledge liar. So, I decided to get myself tested for HIV because all of a sudden I grew worried that maybe he lied to me about his ual history. I had asked him once before in the heat of the moment if he had ever had unprotected with anyone else and he said no and that he didn't trust the other girls from before because he didn't know how many guys they slept with. So, I was uming I was the only he was doing this with, but I could very well be wrong. After him, I rebounded with this other guy (whom I trust a lot more than my previous ex because he was a little bit more explicit about his ual history -- he said that he had only had with his ex of five yrs before me and I had reason to believe him -- I know she existed-- although I know you shouldn't trust anyone with your body!) whom I gave and received unprotected from and we also tried having unprotected twice. However, I was primarily worried about contracting an std something from my ex (Jan-June) since he was a lot more experienced sexually and more of that "player" "charismatic" "ladies man" type than the rebound guy. My sister even said that he was most probably the one who gave me mono -- although we can't really know that for sure -- maybe the new rebound guy did or maybe I just caught it from some other means or someone else. So, I counted back to my last sexual exposure that I had with my first ex and that was in June and I got a rapid finger prick blood test in early Nov. which I tested negative for. The point of my question is that I have been reading so much online and doing a ton of research on HIV what it is, who's at risk, all the diff means of testing it -- you name it every question and piece of info about HIV I have read in the past week --it's insane the amount of info I have swarming around my head about it. I don't know if I'm growing paranoid or what but on the web and from other people I've gotten all kinds of random mixed info telling me about window periods (3 months or 6 months) and it's driving me crazy because a lot of people say I'm fine if i tested negative after 3 months of exposure .. but I'm going nuts that maybe I have to wait until Jan (when it'll be 6 months after exposure) for the antibodies to develop and show in my blood. Am i being crazy? I feel really helpless -- I was thinking of calling some hiv hotlines to talk to someone who could calm me down. Some, ppl say you don't know for sure until it has been six months after exposure and some say that a 3 month negative test is conclusive -- what is the right answer? or is HIV this controversial issue that has no right answer -- is the only answer to keep testing constantly? I've even been reading and watching the trailer of this doentary called "House of Numbers" about how the standard ideas of HIV are being questioned. I've become so engrossed in this topic -- it's sucking up all my time and brain power! I'm full of panic and anxiety. Tom, I will be going to the clinic to check for chlamydia and gonnorhea just to make sure I'm healthy and okay since the nurse who did my hiv test recommended that I test for that since those are the two stds that most commonly go undetected. Who Has Tried using Orange Oil Against Fire Ants?

In the past month or so, I have discovered not huge mounds, but many smaller ones and armies of ants in long lines, throughout my side yard, mostly concentrated near my garden hose against and under my porch but now pervading almost the entire side of the yard. There are MANY lines of them, they are black (not red) and they bite my dogs' paws when they're out there. This side of the house is where I have fed them, because it is the only part that is shaded. Since I'd have to drench the entire area and my dogs often go here, would orange oil solution be safe and effective if I distribute it throughout? 17 weeks pregnant, been bleeding since week 14, no pain?

When I was 14 weeks I started to bleed alot of very watery light pinkish blood for just about 2-3 days. (The very heavy bleeding only lasted a few hours) I had a cyst on my umbilical cord and umed the reason for my bleeding was because the cyst burst. Now ever since that day I have been bleeding pretty much every morning. (It has recently cut down to about every other day) It's now only a little bit of dark blood that sometimes comes out during the night and sometimes first thing in the morning, the second I wake up. I am now 17 weeks pregnant and so far only felt a slight amount of pain at week 14 when this first started. I think it might have been psychological because I had convinced myself I was going to miscarry and I was very stressed. Well I've had an ultrasound and a sonogram a week ago and I was told everything was fine, but I don''t know I read online that bleeding with no pain can mean placenta previa which is supposedly very serious.

Anger towards my dh's x-how to deal?

They were together 9 years off and on although he never married her. We were married last year and she is furious. She has frightened me and my children. We got a restraing order. She now makes her daughter feel bad for having fun at our house (x's best friend told dh this). She fights him on everything-doesn't want him present at school meetings she has serious academic problems and a team was called in for an IEP. X wanted to have two meeing held which would prolong daughter getting the help she needs. She doesn't want him to attend recitals me and the other kids. Every day there is some new drama that she creates. I think about what she does to the daughter and it ticks me off. I have a hard time sleeping because I am worried aobut court proceedings that are coming up. Any advice?

Mobile home...water sitting on concrete runners...?

I'm putting in a double wide mobile home onto my property...Ive got concrete runners installed on a clay pad, the top of the runners are "flush" with the pad itself. The pad slopes away from the concrete runners but rain does not run off when it gets on top of the pad itself .In fact the rain water just sits on top of some of the runners (in some areas over a inch deep) because there are mounds of dirt in between each runner...Should I level out the mounds? or should i put more dirt in on top of the runners? . Today is Wed. and I'm moving the home in on Monday. It rained lastnight and there is water on a few of the runners just as ive been talking about...With sunlight, it will evaporate in notime but once the house gets in im worried this wont be the case...Although the clay pad and runners are above the "regular" ground level im pretty sure rain water will eventually get under the house after i move it in and i wouldnt want it standing on the runners for long...Any advice is apprecia

To all travellers : How to check in at airport for a flight (first time flying..sorry!)?

I know the same thing happened to me when I flew the fist time alone, scared. You take all of your luggage up to the front counter so that it can be taken and checked, also show your tickets and pport to them as well. They can check to see if there are any delays or cancellations to any of your flights. They will keep your checked luggage and put it on the plane. Then you go to the security check area, there will probably be a big line, so just line up behind them. This is where the TSA will check your carry on- if you have one. You empty out your pockets and put everything on a tray that will be ex rayed. Oh and they require that everyone takes off their shoes now- just put them in the tray with everything in your pockets. Step through the metal detector, collect your shoes and stuff from the tray and put your shoes back on. After that you go and find the gate that you will be flying from. I don't know where your from or how big the air port is but there will be signs that will tell you where to go, just look at your ticket to see what gate you need to go to, ask if you can't find it, I did and an employee pointed me in the direction to go- really helped. When you find the gate you can just go and sit down in one of the chairs. Don't be afraid to ask questions if you aren't sure about where your gate is or anything else, they are there to help people with things like that. Hope I helped, have fun :).

It varies by person and the kind of drug used. I received a drug that was supposed to make me bald in two weeks. Instead, I lost my eyebrows, all hair below my waist, and most of my eyelashes. My head hair thinned out a lot too and became very dry and brittle but I never completely lost my hair. I did end up shaving it though because it became hard to manage and really frustrating to deal with (and lose, even if it was slowly). (AVBD therapy)

Try moving it further away from the house for awhile. Once they find it, you can move it closer. Some birds are ground feeders, so you can try throwing some seed on the ground where you see the birds. Once they find the seed they will go to a bird feeder if it is large enough for them to sit at. Make sure you have a mix of seed that the birds in your area eat. I buy wild bird seed, but I also mix in extra sunflower and cracked corn for the birds I have in my area. Birds are attracted to water, so place some terracotta saucers around the area. I have the usual birdbath, a saucer hanging on the deck and one on the ground. Terracotta is good because it is not slippery and helps keep the water cool. Being in a wooded area, you might think of using a suet feeder also for woodpeckers, oak or whatever you might have. Last but not least, you have to have patience. If you put it out, they will come.

All he cares is that he can be involved with his child (unlike some fathers), and that he is taken care of. Is it possible that he can get joint custody in Florida if he doesn't have a job right now, and doesn't have a place of his own (even though he has his own room at his mother's house)? Can she tell him not to see the kid without a court order or a plausible reason?

Well, I'm currently 16 and in very good shape. I have my red belt in karate, can do 50 push ups or chin ups and can run a mile in about 6 and a half minutes. My main concern is a health issue I had in 6th grade, I think it's called slipped capital femoral epiphysis and I had to have a screw-like pin inserted into my hip. My doctor said that my growth plate has begun to close and the bone is just growing over it, and my visits have been lengthened to five years in between each one. ok i like the way you went about making a stardust/am deck however what i recommend you doing is creating a full on stardust ault mode deck. the deck wraps around getting stardust ault mode out ASAP. I sold a 1988 formula 305 firebird to a friend and he now (after riding in my formula 350) wants to dump his $3,000 of saving into it. Are you still living with them. If yes, then it will be difficult. If not, then it may not be as bad as you think. I have no contact with my family and haven't for the past 2 years. The only time I miss it is around the holidays. I don't necessarily miss them in particular. I just miss having a family. But, luckily I have very close friends who make me feel like family so that helps a lot. But overall, I know I did the right thing. After blood test after blood test the vet finely found the disease. Now my dog is paralyzed in his left leg and has know motor skills at all. What should I do about my boyfriend constantly picking on my appearance?

My parents are nuts when it comes to my education.?

I'm 14. My mum is really angry at my dad lately so they're hardly speaking. Anyways my cat died last week and I stayed home on Monday because I was too upset because I saw it happen. On that day my school gave out parent-teacher interview forms and the next day all the teachers had their slots full. So my mum just asked me about it and I told her that and now she thinks I'm a liar and that the slots wouldn't have been full. My dad, trying to get on my mum's good side after killing my cat, drones on about me to her and makes it sound like what I've done even worse. They're crazy about the parent-teacher interviews because I got mostly B-'s on my report card last year and they got really angry at me. I feel like they expect me to be perfect, I admit I probably could have tried harder but B- is not that bad. My dad always makes things I do seem worse so he can suck up to my mum because they're always fighting and it's usually because of something he does wrong. I can't arrange a parent teacher interview now obviously so my parents are going rank and I'm having ...trouble dealing with the stress. My parents always make a big deal out of something I do wrong even if it's just a little thing. One night I was cooking some chicken for myself and my mum told me to put the rest in the freezer in glad wrap. I asked if I could just put it the plastic bag it came in and she got really angry and said why can't I just do as I'm told right away. So I said why are you getting angry and she got all up at me for being ungrateful and walked into the kitchen and unplugged the cooker and put my food in the bin and said I wasn't allowed to eat anymore food from the kitchen. I had to go to school the next day and ask my friends for food because I have no money.

Why am i moody all the time?

The play is about this young man named Gene who is so upset this girl he likes is kissing some other guy he decides to jump of the ledge of a building. So hes standing there then this girl, Sammy, comes to the window for a cigarette and they begin to talk about Gene and his problems. In the end they learn some intimate things about each other and share a moment feeling the breeze outside the window. To me the play is about two people helping each other and making a genuine human connection. There is no ual chemistry between them though, or I dont think there is, because Samm y is a . I dont want the music to be too chessy or too serious (for lack of a better word), but still meaningful. I really appreciate anyone taking the time to help me out thanks.

I am a Christian. My husband is a Christian. He just started a new job last week. His first paycheck is in and I told him it is time to start tithing. He told me he doesn’t make a lot of money and I stopped him there and reminded him that when you tithe GOD will prosper. I was raised knowing that you are supposed to tithe. It was automatic. I know for a fact that when you tithe GOD supplies. I can look at my mom and step father and see that. How can I convince my husband that it will do us good in the long run. Free to Air Reciever Question???

Is anyone using an FTA receiver and if so are you able to get all Hockey games. My neighbor has one and was able to receive all of the baseball games this year while getting his signal from Dish Network. I'm really considering paying the $400 for a HD FTA, I just got Dish two months ago unaware they might not be carrying Center Ice or Extra Innings. This is the main reason I went with Dish Network, however their false sports advertising has lead me to come up with other options to watch games that they don't sell. I still have another 16 months on my contract so I'm screwed. Also I have the HD/DVR box that came with my Dish Network package, if I get an FTA receiver would I still be able to record my games using the Dish Network DVR box?

i think it will be a good match up. i am very surprised to see that cavaliers beat the spurs during the regular season let alone twice. i am a big spurs fan. i am also sick of hearing people knock the spurs. i hear even, who was it? the commissioner talk about how they aren't very exciting and that lebron is like michael jordan and everybody loves him. blah blah blah. i don't think lebron is anywhere near as good as michael jordan. you clog up that lane and give up some good defense and lebron is shut out. that is something that people like nash and bryant are amazing at. getting around the defense and making amazing shots. i think lebron is immature and egotistical. he's got alot of growing up to do. as far as the finals i think the spurs are gonna win... they better. if they can beat the suns and utah then they can beat cavs while eating their lunch. hell i'd just say if they can beat suns. that alone is enough to say they should be the victors. we'll see. i'm going for the spurs.

If it's a virus, there's not a lot you can do, unfortunately. Old standards are ginger ale (the kind with real ginger, not artificially flavored, not diet), or real ginger tea; or 7-up (not diet); and regular, plain saltines. It is important that you keep sipping liquids (clear soda pop is very good for this). If the blood in your vomit continues, or gets worse, you need a doctor. If yours continues to be unresponsive, I would consider finding a new one. Also, you didn't mention a fever. If you have no fever, this is not a virus so you need to be checked for other causes. As long as it's reclined a bit so his head won't flop foward you should be fine. Be sure it's on the floor though and not somewhere that would risk being knocked off or turned over by a pet or a jolt. We kept our baby in a bouncy seat/binet (Eddie Bauer) for the first month because she just slept so much better. :)

Well you could drink as many caffeinated drinks, but sooner or later you'll end up crashing. You can also take a 10-20 minute nap, set your clock., it will give you a boost. Don't sit in the same position for long, get up and move around a bit. And listen to some loud Music :D

Transferring an apartment deposit?

I have lived in the same complex for 4 years my landlord has allowed me to move to 3 different apartments in that time each time transferring the deposit from the original apartment. Well we recently moved into a house and she told us that she was keeping the deposit of $250 because we threw a couch away and placed it next to the dumpster when we lived in the first apartment and shes claiming the charge for hauling the couch away takes the entire $250 deposit so what I am wondering is since we have moved to multiple places since and it was never mentioned that we had to repay the deposit during any of the moves can she legally keep our deposit? I have Panda Security 2008.I had extended my subscription for a year, two months ago. ?

The program is not working correctly now. the security for file protection know threats is not working. It's reading ATTENTION. When I select self-diagnosis it reading protection level is low. I select fix and it doesn't do it.The enable on is checked but it's not enabling for know threats. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but that does not fix it. I have scan my computer for viruses and have disinfected. And still there is a red flag on my file protection. The only way I can contact Panda is with E-mail I have had no response from them. Also I get a pop-up reading unable to update file protection. If anyone has the same program or that can help me would be great. If anyone need more info to help me, let me know. Cara
